Presented here are the core values and beliefs of the body of Meadowbrook Community Church. In addition to our specific church, there is a link to the Assemblies of God web site to gain a more comprehensive perspective of the Assemblies of God on a national level.

Who we are and what we believe...

  • We are a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church
  • We are an evangelical church, proclaiming the entire gospel of Christ and providing preaching, teaching, and pastoral ministries to meet the needs of your family.
  • We are a missionary church supporting a steadily expanding program of home and world missions.
  • We are a friendly church where you will enjoy a hearty welcome, a congenial environment, and a sincere interest in you and your family.
  • We are a family church with ministry and fellowship available for every member of the body of Christ from the youngest to the oldest.
  • We are a teaching church, maintaining a competent staff of teachers and assistants and supplying a wide variety of the best teaching materials available to present a thorough study of the Word of God.
  • We are a growing church, evangelistic in doctrine and practice, and enjoying a continual increase in the "family".

Our Statement of Faith...

We Believe...

  • the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God
  • there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost
  • in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years
  • in the Blessed Hope - the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming
  • the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ
  • regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation
  • the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer
  • the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it
