The passion of Meadowbrook Life Care Ministry is to reach out to those in our church and surrounding communities who are hurting and searching for God’s unconditional love and undeserving grace. Our goal is to join together to find understanding and to receive God’s counsel and healing touch in our lives.
DivorceCare
DivorceCare is a 12-week support group and seminar conducted by
people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly,
you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward
to rebuilding your life. Each week consists of a video teaching by
various experts on divorce and recovery, as well as group discussion.
There is a $20 workbook fee. Workbooks are optional, but highly
recommended. The group meets on Wednesdays in Room 133 from

GriefShare
If you’ve lost someone close to you, we know it hurts. GriefShare is led
by people who understand what you are going through and want to
help. By attending this course, you’ll gain access to valuable
resources to help you recover from your loss. The cost for the
workbook is $15. This group is currently meeting in the Music Suite
on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:15pm. For more information, please

Healing Journey for Kids
HJ4K is a special group to help your children heal from the pain
caused by the loss of a loved one. HJ4K provides your children with a
safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings.
Through these lessons, your child can find help and encouragement.
The class is designed for children ages 6-11. The cost for materials is $7.
HJ4K is not in session at this time. The offering of this class is based on

Freedom Group
Freedom Group is a Christ-centered support group ministry whose
mission is to encourage, empower and equip God’s people to live
every day in sexual integrity. This fellowship of men has found that
their common struggle is God’s opportunity. Each day, members
work at allowing God to transform their lives by the renewal of
their minds and by experiencing freedom from habitual sins while
learning to grow in God’s grace. Meetings are every Sunday in the

Genesis Process
The Genesis Process applies Biblical principles and the support of
others to bring about heart changes that last. It helps bring an
understanding of what is broken that causes us to be self
destructive with behaviors such as workaholism, over or under
eating, drugs/alcohol, sex, codependency, etc. Separate groups for
men and women meet Thursday evenings at 6:30pm. Contact Bill C. Pierce

The Ultimate Journey
The Ultimate Journey has been a key tool used by God in the lives of those on the journey towards healing, intimacy with our Father, and knowing “Christ as Life.” The Ultimate Journey is a general growth and healing group. It will take you through three distinct phases dealing with your past, present and future. It helps participants move past head knowledge into an incredible love relationship with God.
