Sunday Mornings
Big Fish Junior High Ministry meets Sunday morning. At 8:45 we have junior high discipleship small groups. The girls meet in the new Orange Bowl and the guys will meet in the Fish Filter. From 10:00-10:30am we gather for a breakfast hangout in the Orange Bowl. The worship service is at 10:30 in the Orange Bowl. Our worship service is specially geared toward the needs of the younger teenager. A team of three qualified adult leaders uniquely present God’s Word each week. We want to mix it up so church doesn’t become a dull routine for our students. To prepare students for the next step in their walks with the Lord we alternate worship time with the adults with other God centered worship experiences led by our own junior high worship team. A time for fun, games, and relationship building start and end each service.
Outside the Fish Tank
Our calendar is full of events that help students grow closer to God, build strong relationships with each other, and also enable them to reach out to unsaved friends. Fun hangout times, competitive game days, the annual missions trip, seasonal retreats, teen camp, and Momentum Youth Convention are some of the awesome events planned for the year.
Although Big Fish High School and Junior High weekly worship services are scheduled at different times, we still consider our Junior High and High School ministries as one and we do most of our large annual activities as well as some smaller events together
