These are small groups of people, six to twelve, meeting on a regular basis to encourage one another with hope of growing in faith. There is emphasis in such areas as prayer, relationship building, evangelism, ministry service, and Bible study.

Small groups are offered in three main areas:

Community Groups: These groups are open to all adults.
Affinity Groups: These groups are designed for adults with something in common.
University & College Groups: These are small groups for college students most days of the week on the U of I campus.

January thru March Trimester - 2007

The recommended study for this trimester is “Faith Under Construction” which will lead groups through meaningful discussions on aspects of faith.

The aspects include:

  • Where Faith Begins
  • Bringing Pleasure to God
  • Obedience When it Doesn’t Make Sense
  • Traveling to the Unknown
  • Speaking with Belief
  • Enduring Difficulty to Obtain Something of Far Greater Worth

If you would like to participate as a group member, please contact the church office anytime during the trimester.Please remember that childcare is offered at the church for people participating in a small on the second and fourth Sundays of each month for a charge of $1 per child per hour.
