Using the epistles of John as our starting point, we will consider the darkness that we see in our current culture and think through positive ways to shine the light of Christ to unbelievers. Light represents what is good, pure, true, holy, and reliable. Together we will work through viable ways we can express the light through servanthood and self-sacrifice. We will learn that the love that is required is less a feeling than a choice. We will also discuss the peril of claiming to be a person living in the light while toying with the darkness.
