What is Meadowbrook Kids?

The focus of Kids Central is to help kids experience God in a way they’ll never forget. Parents can have the peace of mind knowing their kids are safe and secure while praising God, meeting new friends, and learning God’s Word each week. Our goal is for every kid to realize that Jesus loves them and has a plan for their lives.

Early Childhood

The Early Childhood ministry is a caring and safe place for our youngest Meadowbrook attenders. There are four levels of ministry provided because we want to do more than babysit your children, we want to provide teaching and social activities specifically designed to meet their developmental needs. The Early Childhood staff uses The Gospel Project by Lifeway ministries. If you would like to find out what The Gospel Project is all about, you may visit their website, www.gospelproject.com/kids/preschool.

Both Sunday morning sessions meet in the Student Center which includes worship, a Bible lesson from a video series, interactive discussions and opportunities for the children to share prayer requests and receive prayer. Before and after the service children have a chance to enjoy playing in a bounce house, have a game of air hockey or Foosball and have a snack.

On Wednesdays our elementary age boys and girls meet in the Orange Bowl for a large group worship experience. We use High Voltage curriculum which draws the children in using an interactive format. Children are encouraged to memorize scripture and apply lessons they have learned to their every day life.

Service Times & Location

Sunday Mornings
Early Childhood
8:45am & 10:30am – Children are divided into four groups; Creation Station – Birth to 18 months, Toddler Town – 18 months up to 3 years old, Preschool Park – 3 year olds and Junior Junction – 4 & 5 year olds not in Kindergarten.

Our elementary children come together each Sunday in the Student Center at 8:45AM or 10:30AM.  Each service offers a time for uplifting worship using motions and lyrics, a Bible lesson from a video series, interactive discussions and illustrations designed to reinforce the message. There are opportunities for children to share their prayer requests and time is spent praying with and for them and their families. Children are encouraged to participate in bringing offerings in their yellow BGMC Buddy Barrels to support Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (which supports missionaries throughout the world). Before and after services children are given a snack and there is free time to get their energy out by enjoying the bounce house, play at the air hockey table and foosball table!

Wednesday Nights
Early Childhood
6:30pm – Children are divided into two groups; Birth up to 3 years old, 3 year olds – 4 & 5 year olds not in Kindergarten.

Our elementary age boys and girls come together each week in the Orange Bowl for a fun time of interactive learning from the High Voltage curriculum.  Each week they participate in worship, watch fun Bible videos from the series, and learn object lessons which encourage and reinforce their faith.  Students challenge one another to answer questions from the lesson and memorize scripture.
